Steps to Apply for Federal Aid

PIN Requests: www.pin.ed.gov

The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your electronic signature to sign your FAFSA. Students and Parents of dependent students should have a PIN.

FAFSA on the Web: www.fafsa.ed.gov The Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be completed by all students requesting Federal Financial Aid.

Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling Quiz: http://finance.devry.edu/student.html Students must complete the Loan Entrance Counseling Quiz on this page to receive their loan funds. The completed quiz is recorded in the DeVry University Student Finance system.

Loan Applications: http://finance.devry.edu/student.html Students choose a FFELP lender and complete the loan application online via this site.

Perkins Loan Applications: https://www.signmyloan.com University Accounting Service uses this web site for students to sign their Perkins Promissory Note (if part of their Financial Aid Package). The FAFSA PIN is used as the student's electronic signature. The student should have their Social Security Number, Drivers License, Reference Information and Employers Information to complete the online promissory note.
